Nutrition Scientist, Asia Pacific, Global Nutrition
Thomas Teh, MS, is the Nutrition Scientist for the Asia Pacific region at Tate & Lyle. In his current role at Tate & Lyle, he supports the Asia Pacific region by staying close to customers through the sharing of the latest scientific evidence regards to the different ingredient solutions, addressing queries with supporting clinical data and by working hand-in-hand with Regulatory in seeking health claims approvals for various countries.
He received his undergraduate degree from Johnson and Wales University and his post-graduate degree from the University of Maine, USA.
Mr Teh’s previous experience includes medical affairs, academic and dietetics practice. His research focused on antioxidant properties in wild blueberries and soy isoflavones and evaluating consumer behaviours towards new healthy food products. Mr Teh is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with the Commission of Dietetics Registration, USA.
