Our mission at Tate & Lyle, as a global provider of high-quality ingredients, is to help people meet their nutrition, health and wellness needs. Our Global Nutrition Science team focuses on three key areas:
• Research: We support, design, and conduct pre-clinical and clinical research to provide key scientific knowledge about Tate & Lyle’s existing sweetener and fibre ingredients and for new ingredient innovation and development. Our aim is to better understand the nutrition science and impact Tate & Lyle’s ingredients can have on human health.
• Solutions for the Customers: The Tate & Lyle Global Nutrition team collaborates with Regulatory and Applications colleagues to understand our customers’ needs and partners with them to provide research-based solutions for enhancement of their food and beverage applications.
• Education: We promote nutrition education and science underpinning the health benefits of our ingredients among our customers, health professionals, academic researchers and opinion leaders.
