One of our customers called on us to help them explore ways to diversify their beverage offering. Market research indicated that their target consumers wanted on-the-go convenience, in combination with bold and sweet flavours.
The customer was already using our SPLENDA® Sucralose to make one of the fastest-growing beverages in the United States, but was looking to develop more extraordinary solutions.
Working closely alongside their CEO, R&D scientists and marketing team, we decided on the concept of a caffeinated juice beverage, using natural, low- or zero-calorie sweeteners. We helped them to understand how they could use our Tate & Lyle natural sweeteners to enhance fruit flavours while adding sweetness without the calories.

Together we then went on to conduct consumer testing in our sensory laboratory at our Commercial and Food Innovation Centre in Hoffman Estates.
Production is currently underway to launch yet another extraordinary beverage produced with Tate & Lyle ingredients into the market.
