DEXSTAR® Agglomerated Dextrose is a dextrose based sweetener, with excellent properties where fermentation may be required for use in a range of beverage applications. DEXSTAR® Agglomerated Dextrose is available in agglomerated versions for confectionery, canned and convenience and dairy applications. It is suitable for tableting and is ideal as a bulking agent for high intensity sweeteners.

Dextrose is the term given by the food industry to D-glucose, which is used by all living cells as a source of energy. It is produced by plants as they photosynthesize.
