The TENDER-JEL® starch line is used in salad dressings, instant soups, tomato products, instant sauces and gravies, fruit mixes, bakery mixes, and pie fillings to provide thickening. This line of instant starches is produced from corn. There are 6 starches in this line of product which vary in dispersion characteristics, shelf stability and resistance to breakdown during processing.
INSTANT TENDER-JEL® 419 Starch
INSTANT TENDER-JEL® 419 Starch is a thickening starch produced from corn which is used in salad dressings, instant soups, tomato products, instant sauces and gravies, fruit mixes, and pie fillings. This starch provides thick creamy texture, high resistance to breakdown during processing, and is suitable for short-term stability under ambient and refrigerated conditions.
