Melissa supports North American customers by helping them understand the science behind our ingredients, translating complex science into practical insights. A self-described science nerd, she’s passionate about discussing nutrition science and hot topics in nutrition.
Melissa joined Tate & Lyle after eight years at PepsiCo, where she contributed to the nutrition science group in roles that advanced research and helped bring nutrition insights to life for grains, snacks, and juice. This experience gave her deep expertise in translating nutrition science for major food brands and fueled her passion for making healthier choices more accessible. Melissa holds degrees in Biology, Public Health, and Nutrition Science.
