Tate & Lyle PLC - Disposal of Corn Wet Mill in Morocco

Confirmation of disposal of Corn Wet Mill in, Casablanca, Morocco.

Tate & Lyle PLC (Tate & Lyle) announces it has signed an agreement to sell its small, wholly owned corn wet mill in Casablanca, Morocco to Archer Daniels Midland Company.  The corn wet mill produces bulk ingredient products.  Completion is conditional upon regulatory clearance which is expected in the first half of the 2016 calendar year. 

The sale represents another step in focusing Tate & Lyle’s business in Europe, Middle East and Africa on Speciality Food Ingredients.
