This is Rowan. He joined us in 2001 and has since held a number of senior roles at Tate & Lyle from Strategy and Communications to HR and Company Secretariat. He was appointed EVP, Corporate Affairs and to the Executive Committee in 2014 with responsibility for external and digital corporate communications, government and community relations and purpose. He took on responsibility for Tate & Lyle's sustainability programme in 2020 and then, in October 2026, the leadership of our Commercial Transformation programme responsible for driving strategy and execution across our platforms of sweetening, mouthfeel and fortification and working with our commercial and marketing teams to ensure we are a solutions partner of choice for customers.
Before joining Tate & Lyle, Rowan held roles at The Royal Bank of Scotland, National Westminster Bank, Linklaters and Deloitte. A History graduate from York University, Rowan is a Fellow of the Chartered Governance Institute. Outside of Tate & Lyle, he is a Trustee of the Royal Engineers Association (also known as the Sapper Charity).
