This is Melissa. She joined us in 2017 as President of our Global Operations. In September 2025, she moved into the role of Chief Commercial and Transformation Officer. In this role she has responsibility for the on-going commercial transformation of the business, working with our commercial teams to accelerate our solution selling. Effective 1 December she is also responsible for driving the strategy and execution across our platforms of sweetening, mouthfeel and fortification, ensuring we are a solutions partner of choice for our customers.
Prior to joining Tate & Lyle, Melissa spent 20 years in senior and executive positions at Baker Huges, a GE company. Before joining Tate &Lyle, Melissa led the Global Specialties Chemicals Division, a major part of Baker Huges’ Oilfield Service portfolio. Her experience ranges across Commercial, Sales, Marketing, Operations and R&D.
She holds an MSc in Environmental Chemistry from the University of Houston, US.
