Annia partners with customers across Latin America to turn science into practical solutions that drive innovation. Her focus? Helping them unlock the potential of our portfolio — from sweeteners to fibres — and showing how these ingredients can elevate products in ways that matter to consumers.

What excites Annia most is translating complex science into clear, actionable insights so customers see the real impact. Together with her customers, she aims to bring more nutritious products to market, combining technical expertise with creativity to make a difference.

Before joining Tate & Lyle, Annia spent 12 years at Unilever Mexico in R&D, working hands-on with iconic brands like AdeS, Maizena and Knorr. She started on the nutrition team and later moved on to formulation, where she was the lead formulator for the bouillon platform. The experience gave her a deep understanding of the food business — from ingredients and formulation to industrial trials, plant processes, applications, and consumer studies. It strengthened her passion for the food industry and her role as a nutritionist: supporting and empowering food companies to create better products.

Annia holds a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics and a Diploma in Mexican Gastronomy — because flavour and health should always go hand in hand.
