Joined the Board in December 2012. Anne was Group Director of Human Resources at Centrica plc from 2002 until her retirement in 2011. Anne’s extensive career in general management and human resources is particularly useful to the Board when considering succession planning, talent management, executive remuneration and other employee-related activities. Her experience on the boards of companies listed in both London and New York provide her with a detailed understanding of global executive remuneration practices and UK and US remuneration governance requirements. She previously held senior management roles at Shell UK and Smiths Group plc, was Deputy Director-General of the Engineering Employers’ Federation and non-executive director of Shire PLC (until April 2018). Currently a non-executive director and Chairman of the Compensation Committee of ExlService Holdings, Inc., Chairman of the University of Aberdeen Development Trust and a non-executive director of the Court of the University of Aberdeen.

Chairman of the Remuneration Committee and member of the Audit and Nominations Committees.
