Paper starches are modified and unmodified corn starches used to increase dry paper strength and improve surface conditions. Our papermaking starches are used across the industry, in coated, uncoated, technical, specialty, linerboard, and recycled papers for printing and writing. Our Stalok product line includes a full range of cationic starches for the wet end of the paper machine to enhance strength, drainage, and retention. The Ethylex product line serves surface sizing and coating applications by providing system cleanliness, viscosity stability, adhesive strength, pigment binding and excellent water retention.
