SPLENDA® Sucralose is a zero-calorie sweetener made from sugar. It is not sugar, but it tastes like sugar and is used to sweeten more than 5,000 products in over 80 countries. It is 600 times as sweet as sugar, and is exceptionally stable – which means it is suited to a wide variety of food manufacturing processes, and stays sweet on the shelf.
