About Storage
Tate & Lyle operates world-class dedicated third party bulk liquid storage terminals for food grade, feed grade and industrial products. With almost 100 years of history behind it, this global business has earned the regard of the industry as a leader and an innovator, as well as a trusted trading partner.
Our storage business has evolved from United Storage, an element of Tate & Lyle's international molasses business. While one of the main customers remains the molasses business, the storage business has grown and is committed to the provision of high quality bulk liquid storage from a variety of sectors from petroleum products and chemicals to oils and fats.
The business markets over 450,000 cubic meters of tank space across the UK strategically located in deep water ports in Greenock, Hull, London, Merseyside, and Portbury. We are able to offer tanks and associated pipework dedicated to either food or industrial products, providing customers with cost effective bulk liquid processing and storage capabilities. The blending of lube oils, ethanol and molasses are a particular area of expertise.
Offering further options for international customers, our terminals in Belgium, Mozambique, and South Africa offer 80,000 cubic meters of tank capacity capable of storing a variety of liquids.
